Add a Comment. 9 yr. ago. I've been playing KSP with a Saitek X52 HOTAS for a few months. At first, it was exciting to get to play KSP with semi-realistic controls. Then came the input lag, which ruined my fun completely. I tried multiple solutions, including removing the Saitek software and installing Universal Joystick Remapper and VJoy. I modded my TWCS throttle and it drastically improved my piloting. I've been using a Thrustmaster TWCS and a VKB Gladiator NXT for quite a while now. They're amazing pieces of hardware, especially in VR! It really ups the immersion. What has been bothering me though is the amount of "stiction" of the throttle unit.

Yeah finally dove in yesterday and got HOTAS set up. Very cool game. I am weirdly enjoying just riding on my main ship (just got a katana) and directing my tiny but growing empire. Definitely took some work to get going but HOTAS always does. I started with an r-seat N1 and had to print and build so many custom parts to accept different flying setups.
