Feb 16, 2019 · In my opinion the 450 acre lower lake could hold a good population of crappie year round, it would require extending the 12" length limit and possibly even a horsepower restriction on motors. I have been on Keystone the past few weeks, chasing after the Striper and Blue cats. The lake level has risen to 6’-7’ above normal over the past few days and has muddied up one arm of the lake. The striper bite has died off where I was finding them, due to the chocolate milk looking water.
