Shifting into neutral and back to drive can help it to run a bit better. EG: with a cold motor when I turn on IGN w/o the starting the engine my TB parks at 15.3% open. Immediately after starting at 70*F the PCM opens the TB to 17.6%. (1360 RPM) . After 5 mins when the ETC reaches 175* F the TB opening has slowly dropped to 11% open and the idle RPM in Park settles at 675.
