Aight aight, i know you are probably not going to believe me, but probably like a year ago i was playing on my PS4 when i found a stronghold in the ocean, the thing is, it was only the portal room, nothing else. This sound unbelievable, and since the world was since deleted i cannot show proof. (unless i maybe scrrenshoted it and forgot)If you are wondering how to find the (roughly pixel art circle -shaped) End Portal in Minecraft, all you need to do is use two Eyes of Ender a few hundred blocks apart from each other. Write down the X, and Z coordinates and the direction the Ender Pearl flies in (specified in degrees, measured clockwise from south, where south = 0°).

I mean, try using pie Ray in the overworld. 99% of the time there is a spawner, there is waaaaay too many mineshafts to be useful, when if you have an area you think there is a stronghold, the mob soawner won't go away no matter how low your render distance making it impossible to find the one in the stronghold.
