If you choose a newer design you should be just fine. If you can find it, the 147gr. Federal HST load is very impressive. Keep in mind that ballistic testing is not true one to one with performance on a bad guy.The HST is not as good of a barrier blind load as the Critical Duty at least thru some barriers, particularly safety glass. HST is not particularly good thru safety glass and does not meet FBI standards for that test. For that reason, I would choose the Critical Duty or any Gold Dot load over any of the HST loads.
