It then replaced necessary shots. Still very, very accurate from what I hear! Looked on TPB but only have 2.5 thanks! What happened to 2.1-4 and 2.6. I have a new hope 720p 2.7. Not what you're asking for, but wanted to throw it out there. Does anyone know what the specific differences are between 2.5 and 2.7? I can't seem to find any "patch notes" as it were.The only official version I'd recommend would be The Empire Strikes Back. The "special edition" changes in that movie compared to the same versions of A New Hope and Return of the Jedi aren't that drastic, and aren't terrible. For A New Hope and Return of the Jedi I'd recommend going for the 4K77 / 4K83 or Harmy's Despecialized versions.
